But with this, the demand for cooling and air conditioners has also risen and most of us prefer to have the air conditioner on throughout the day. But this has also brought a lot of usage of electricity and money. But there is an ultra white paint that scientists have been developing that may help! Read on.

This new ultra white paint has been developed at Purdue University in the U.S. This paint reflects the sunlight that falls on it back into space, a method called radiative cooling. The paint can reduce the temperature of a room by 4.5 degrees centigrade. It was made by adding the compound barium sulfate which reflected 98.1% heat. An analysis has also shown that with this cooling method you could save up to 70% air conditioning cost.

But this paint also has a defect that in winter it cannot be removed and may also make it extra cold by reflecting of all extra heat. Because of this, scientists are still trying to make a dynamic paint that changes according to the weather.
